Best Western Hotel Spring House - Rome, Italy
Best Western Hotel Spring House – Rome, Italy

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Hotel Spring House two separate nights during last summer’s trip to Europe. The first night we got a very nice room with a balcony which had a partial view of St. Peter’s cathedral.

The second night we were not as fortunate and got a smaller room without a balcony but this was okay for us since we did not spend a lot of time in the room.  We were there to see Rome, after all!

The hotel is very well located.  It’s literally a five minute walk to the Vatican Museum and a five minute walk to the Cipro subway station.

I really recommend this hotel because of it’s location, the staff, and the over all cleanness. Yes, the rooms are small but this is common in Europe.

The breakfast included in your room rate is very good and it has a good selection of pastries, cold meats, cheeses, bread, fruits and cereals. I recommend this hotel for those who really want to get a good value and be close to the subway and the Vatican. There’s also a small market right next door to it if you wish to purchase your own groceries and snacks.  Also, the hotel offers a shuttle to the airport for 50 Euros, which is not bad, considering they take you in a very comfortable Mercedes Benz and are very punctual, helpful, and professional.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony, even if it’s with a view to the street.
