Where there’s a Will there’s a way!

Ritz Caribbean Food

Ritz Caribbean Food at 211 Yonge Street could be easily classified as a quick-service eatery. You basically order your food at the counter and pay the cashier. But what Ritz Caribbean lacks in aesthetics and charm it makes up in taste. This restaurant makes the best jerk chicken and other Jamaican food I have tried in Toronto.

The special of the day is either the jerk, BBQ, or friend chicken combo. For less than $6 including tax, you get a bountiful serving of meat combined with your choice of rice and peas, gravy, and fried sweet plantain or coleslaw salad.

Got the winter blues? Why not head to Caribbean? Ritz Caribbean that is! #friedchicken

After having been to Ritz Caribbean quite a few times I can honestly say that everything here is made with fresh ingredients and never lacks in flavour.

Keep in mind that Ritz Caribbean is always packed for lunch, and in the summer the lineup goes out the door for the lunch special.

After you try Ritz Caribbean you’ll keep going back for me. It’s a great jerk chicken!

hmm platano! So hard to find it prepared properly – or at all. When I first saw your picture of the Ritz I assumed it was going to be in the Caribbean – then saw the snow at the bottom!
